Installation and Power Engineer - Renewable Energy / Solar
Job Description
•Supervise solar system installations: panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring. •Prepare SLDs, conduct load analysis, and configure electrical components. •Ensure project execution meets industry codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE). •Conduct commissioning, system testing, and documentation. •Implement quality, safety, and compliance standards on-site. •Train junior technicians and support client technical needs.
Education & Experience
Education
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience Level
•Mid-Senior (5+ years) of solar PV and electrical installation experience. •Strong knowledge of grid-tied / off-grid systems, battery storage, and power audits •Familiarity with AutoCAD, PVsyst, or Helioscope (a plus). - COREN, NSE, NABCEP, or related certifications (preferred). •Excellent troubleshooting and team coordination skills. •Willingness to travel and work in field locations.
