Job Description
• Oversee and optimize mining operations to achieve production targets & efficiency • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness • Monitor operational performance, ensure compliance with safety, health & environmental standards • Collaborate with technical/support teams to resolve challenges • Mentor and develop operations team, fostering accountability and innovation • Prepare and present operational reports & updates to the Board of Directors

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification (preferred)
Experience Level
• Proven record in managing mining operations at senior level • Minimum 5 years as a General Manager • Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
Additional Information
• Must have knowledge of diamond security, HR, union structures, social services, safety, finance, logistics, and admin • Must be proficient in English & Portuguese
