Senior Geologist

Job Description

• Carry out geological mapping, geochemical sampling, trenching, pitting, and drilling (exploration work) • Collect and record geological data in an orderly manner and circulate to concerned departments • Supervise the activity of geo-technicians and samplers • Coordinate with mining personnel and production teams • Prepare maps and reports in a timely manner • Ensure grade control at mine sites • Oversee sampling at various points in mine and plant • Utilize geological software (Micromine, Datamine, Surpac, etc.)
