Geologist - Mining / Mineral Exploration
Job Description
• Plan and execute geological exploration programs across multiple sites in Tanzania. • Conduct geological mapping, trenching, drilling supervision, and core logging. • Evaluate mineral potential through geochemical and geophysical data analysis. • Prepare geological models and technical reports aligned with JORC or equivalent standards. • Oversee QA/QC processes, sampling protocols, and data management. • Support resource estimation and feasibility studies. • Collaborate with mining engineers, environmental experts, and project managers. • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian mining regulations and safety standards.

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
Experience Level
• Minimum 8–15 years of geological experience in mining or mineral exploration within Tanzania. • Proven expertise in field mapping, sampling, and resource estimation. • Strong understanding of geological data interpretation and mineral resource evaluation.
