Mechanical Engineer – Pasta Production
Job Description
Maintenance & Repairs: Lead mechanical repairs, overhauls, and routine maintenance of pasta production lines. Technical Troubleshooting: Fix issues related to motors, gearboxes, vacuum systems, extrusion heads, sensors, and relays. Process Control: Manage the pasta drying process, specifically controlling temperature and humidity. Inventory & Systems: Manage spare parts procurement and use SAP / CMMS to track performance and prevent breakdowns. Coordination: Work with equipment vendors and production teams; interpret technical drawings (blueprints, wiring, hydraulics).
Education & Experience
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with specific knowledge of FAVA & Pavan lines, PLC logic, and HACCP/ISO standards.
Experience Level
3–5 Years of hands-on experience in Pasta Manufacturing.
Additional Information
Experience with FAVA and Pavan production lines is a mandatory requirement. Must be able to troubleshoot PLC logic and automation. Familiarity with HACCP and ISO standards is expected.
