Process Manager – Hydrometallurgy (Non-Ferrous Metals)
Job Description
Monitor and optimize hydrometallurgical circuits including leaching, solvent extraction, purification, and electrowinning Analyze metallurgical data, metal balance, and process parameters to improve recovery and efficiency Troubleshoot plant/process issues and ensure operational stability Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives Develop and implement SOPs, quality systems, and best practices Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and laboratory teams Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards (For Manager role) Lead teams, conduct performance reviews, and drive technical training and development

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing Engineering
Experience Level
Process Manager: 8–15 years
Additional Information
Strong experience in SXEW, leaching, purification, and electrolysis required Exposure to Zn, Pb, Cu, Ni, Co processing preferred Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process optimization skills required Must be willing to work in site-based Central Africa operations
