Plant Head – Steel Industry
Job Description
Oversee complete plant operations including Sponge Iron, SMS, and Rolling Mill Drive production of TMT/QST bars ensuring quality and efficiency Lead plant maintenance and ensure minimal downtime Manage cost control initiatives and optimize operational expenses Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards Lead and develop large cross-functional teams Implement process improvements and drive productivity enhancements Monitor KPIs and ensure achievement of production targets

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
Experience Level
20–22 years of experience in the steel industry, with 5–7 years in a Plant Head role
Additional Information
Strong experience in TMT/QST bars production is mandatory Overseas experience is required Candidates must have prior leadership experience as Plant Head
