Assistant General Manager / Room Division Manager – Hotel
Job Description
Manage overall hotel operations in alignment with SOPs, policies, and service standards Drive revenue growth, profitability, and achievement of annual budgets Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and drive repeat business Identify and develop local business opportunities to enhance hotel visibility Oversee guest experience, handle escalations, and ensure service excellence Lead operational projects including CAPEX, refurbishments, and vendor management Ensure compliance with safety, fire, health, and legal regulations Manage employee relations, engagement, and coordination with HR Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards Monitor guest feedback, online ratings, and implement service improvements

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or Business Management
Experience Level
10–15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with 5–7 years in AGM / General Manager / Room Division Manager role at a star-rated hotel
Additional Information
Strong understanding of hotel P&L and commercial operations required Experience in luxury, international, or pre-opening hotel projects preferred Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills essential Knowledge of hotel management software is required
