Job Description
Lead process optimization and metallurgical performance initiatives Drive SPC implementation, metal balance accuracy, and recovery improvements Troubleshoot plant issues and ensure operational stability Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve uptime and reliability Manage chemicals consumption and spares planning Lead team development, coaching, and technical training Utilize SAP S/4HANA for planning and production processes (MRP, PPC, Production Orders)

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field Advanced certifications or specialization in Hydrometallurgy preferred
Experience Level
10–18 years in Hydrometallurgy / Mineral Processing Strong expertise in SPC (Statistical Process Control), Metal Balance, and Process Optimization Experience in Copper, Cobalt, or other Base Metals preferred Prior experience in Africa is an advantage Exposure to SAP S/4HANA (MRP, PPC, Production Orders)
