Assistant Store Manager – Steel Plant
Job Description
Manage end-to-end store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials Ensure availability of critical MRO spares to avoid plant downtime Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits Work on SAP MM / ERP systems for material tracking and reporting Coordinate closely with maintenance and production teams for requirement planning Implement inventory control techniques (FIFO, min-max levels, etc.) Monitor stock levels and reduce excess/obsolete inventory Vendor coordination and procurement follow-ups Ensure compliance with safety and store management best practices

Education & Experience
Education
10–15 years of experience in plant stores (MRO), preferably in Steel / Metals industry
Experience Level
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Materials Management or related field Certification in Inventory / Stores Management is an added advantage
Additional Information
