Job Description

Oversee rolling mill operations from reheating furnace to cooling bed / coil handling Monitor mill parameters (speed, temperature, reduction ratio) Optimize furnace operations for fuel efficiency Ensure product quality through coordination with QC Coordinate with maintenance for smooth operations Maintain safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards Prepare shift reports (production, downtime, consumption, manpower)

Education & Experience

Education

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy

Experience Level

3–7 years (Hot Rolling Mill – TMT & Wire Rod)

Additional Information

Knowledge of reheating furnace, rolling process, and PLC systems required Proficiency in MS Excel / SAP preferred
