Site Manager – Solar Projects (Ground Mount)
Job Description
• Manage complete site execution of utility-scale ground-mounted solar projects • Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical installation activities • Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams • Ensure project execution adheres to approved schedules and milestones • Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications • Implement and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols at site • Manage grid connectivity, cabling, switchyard, and system integration activities • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover processes
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Experience Level
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in MW-scale Ground-Mounted Solar PV Projects • Proven experience in utility-scale solar project execution (2 MW – 50 MW) • Experience in managing site operations, contractors, and project execution teams
Additional Information
• Experience in MW-scale ground-mounted solar projects is mandatory • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, grid connectivity, and local regulations is required • Candidates must be willing to travel and work across project sites in Nigeria
