Business Unit Head – Soyabean & Sunflower Solvent Extraction Plant
Job Description
Lead end-to-end operations of the Soyabean & Sunflower Solvent Extraction Plant. Ensure operational efficiency, safety, quality, and cost optimization. Manage edible oil manufacturing and processing operations. Oversee commercial activities including procurement, vendor management, inventory control, and cost management. Ensure efficient dispatch planning, logistics coordination, and documentation management. Manage maintenance, utilities, ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and statutory compliance activities. Drive profitability improvement and business growth initiatives. Lead supply chain coordination and raw material sourcing strategies. Develop and mentor high-performing teams while promoting operational excellence.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field. MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management will be an added advantage. Professional certifications in Manufacturing Excellence, Lean Management, or Supply Chain Management are desirable.
Experience Level
Minimum 15+ years of experience in: Solvent Extraction Plants Edible Oil Manufacturing Oilseed Processing Industry Plant Operations Management Proven experience in managing large-scale Soyabean and Sunflower Extraction Plants. Strong exposure to commercial and procurement functions.
