Logistics Coordinator – Palm Oil Refinery
Job Description
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities. Manage transportation schedules and fleet movements. Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and logistics service providers. Ensure smooth loading, unloading, and movement of materials and finished goods. Monitor inventory flow and warehouse coordination. Maintain logistics records, shipping documents, and compliance requirements. Track logistics performance and identify areas for cost optimization. Resolve transportation and supply chain-related issues promptly. Ensure adherence to company logistics policies and operational standards.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage. Knowledge of ERP systems and logistics documentation processes.
Experience Level
3–5+ years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Operations. Experience in Agri-Commodities, Edible Oils, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Refinery industries preferred. Prior West Africa experience is highly preferred. Experience managing transportation planning, vendor coordination, and inventory movement.
Additional Information
Fluent English communication skills are mandatory. Experience in refinery, edible oils, FMCG, or agri-commodity sectors will be highly advantageous. Knowledge of transportation management and logistics compliance standards preferred. Candidates with West Africa experience will receive preference.
