Logistics Head
Job Description
Oversee Shipping, Transportation, and Trucking Operations. Manage Agro Commodity Logistics including grains, edible oils, and agricultural products. Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Manage domestic transportation networks across Mozambique. Supervise fleet management, route planning, and logistics optimization activities. Coordinate with transport vendors, freight providers, and logistics partners. Monitor supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure timely movement of goods and efficient freight operations. Control logistics costs while maintaining service standards.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or related field (preferred)
Experience Level
Extensive experience in Shipping, Transportation, and Trucking Operations. Strong experience in Agro Commodity Logistics (Grains, Edible Oils, Agricultural Products, etc.). Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics operations. Experience working in Africa, preferably Mozambique, is an added advantage.
Additional Information
Professionals currently based and working in Mozambique are strongly encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of Mozambique's domestic transportation network is essential. Experience handling transport vendors and logistics teams is required.
