Core Drill Operator
Job Description
Operate Kores KDR1000 Diamond Drill (DD) equipment safely and efficiently. Carry out drilling operations according to project specifications and production targets. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment. Identify and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team. Maintain accurate drilling records and daily operational reports. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and site regulations. Coordinate effectively with supervisors, geologists, and support teams for smooth drilling operations. Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Education & Experience
Education
Relevant technical qualification or certification in Drilling Operations is preferred
Experience Level
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Core Drilling Operations
Additional Information
Industry: Mining, Proven experience operating one or more of the following drilling rigs: Boart Longyear, Sandvik, Epiroc, PRD Rigs, Experience operating Kores KDR1000 DD Drill is highly preferred. Strong understanding of drilling procedures, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety is required. Candidates must be physically fit and willing to work in remote mining locations.
