Plant Accountant
Job Description
Manage plant accounting and cost accounting activities. Perform inventory valuation and stock reconciliation. Conduct production cost analysis and implement cost control measures. Prepare budgets and financial forecasts. Generate MIS reports and financial reports for management. Maintain fixed asset accounting records. Ensure compliance with internal audit procedures and statutory requirements. Handle month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

M.Com. CA Inter. CA Final.
Experience Level
10–15 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably in Steel, Metals, Cement, Heavy Engineering, or Process Industries
Additional Information
Industry: Steel Manufacturing. Experience in Plant Accounting, Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Manufacturing Finance, and Factory Operations is mandatory. Hands-on experience in Budgeting, Cost Analysis, MIS Reporting, Variance Analysis, Financial Reporting, Internal Controls, and Statutory Compliance is required. Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems is preferred. Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams are essential.
