Accountant

Job Description

Prepare financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Manage daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, and accounting records. Prepare accurate financial reports and management reports. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Handle tax filings and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance. Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Maintain accurate financial documentation and accounting records. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures. Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is required. Experience with Sage Accounting Software is an added advantage. Previous work experience in Africa is preferred.
