Mining Manager
Job Description
Plan and supervise quarry operations including drilling, blasting, extraction, crushing, and screening. Set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Optimize equipment utilization and crushing plant performance. Ensure continuous availability of raw materials for production. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of quarry equipment. Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime. Supervise machine operators, drillers, crusher operators, and production staff. Organize work schedules and participate in recruitment and performance evaluations.

Education & Experience
Education
Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Public Works, Mining Operations, or Industrial Engineering (Bachelor's/Master's)
Experience Level
Minimum 8 years in quarry and crushing operations (5–10 years in quarry/mining operations preferred)
Additional Information
Industry: Mining. Reports directly to the Quarry Head. Strong knowledge of quarry operations, crushing, and screening equipment is required. Knowledge of Cameroon's mining and environmental regulations is preferred. Certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Industrial Risk Management are preferred.
