General Manager – Operations (Foam & Mattress Manufacturing)
Job Description
Oversee overall factory operations and plant performance. Lead production planning and improve manufacturing efficiency. Manage plant budgets, profitability, and financial performance. Supervise inventory management and supply chain operations. Develop and implement sales and business growth strategies. Lead, mentor, and develop employees across departments. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Monitor production costs and implement cost optimization initiatives. Coordinate with procurement, sales, finance, and logistics teams. Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Prepare operational and performance reports for senior management. Ensure timely customer deliveries and high product quality standards.

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Experience Level
Minimum 15–20 years of progressive manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in foam, mattress, polyurethane foam, furniture foam, or bedding manufacturing is highly preferred. Strong expertise in operations management, production planning, financial management, inventory control, and business development is required
