General Manager – Mining Operations
Job Description
Provide strategic leadership for all mining operations. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective mine production. Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational and financial targets. Develop and implement operational and business improvement strategies. Manage relationships with government authorities, local communities, and other key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering (Mandatory). Postgraduate qualification in Mine Management or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
Experience Level
Extensive experience as a General Manager in mid-tier or large-scale mining operations. Significant operational experience within Africa is mandatory. Strong understanding of mining operations, leadership, and stakeholder management in West Africa.
Additional Information
