Senior Geologist
Job Description
Lead district-scale exploration programmes targeting sediment-hosted copper and magmatic nickel systems from concept generation through drill testing. Integrate geological, structural, geophysical, and geochemical datasets to develop robust geological models and exploration targets. Generate, evaluate, and prioritise exploration targets using mineral systems thinking. Develop exploration strategies, work programmes, budgets, and schedules aligned with project objectives. Plan, supervise, and optimize drilling programmes, including target definition, logging, sampling, and QA/QC.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geosciences or related discipline (essential)
Experience Level
Minimum 10 years' exploration geology experience, including at least 3 years in a field leadership role
Additional Information
Technical competencies require proficiency in geological modelling software (Leapfrog, Micromine, or equivalent) and advanced GIS capability (ArcGIS Pro preferred). Experience with acQuire and ioGAS database systems is considered advantageous. Strong background in sediment-hosted copper mineral systems and economic geology is required.
