Sr. Production Engineer – Sodium Silicate (Wet Process)
Job Description
Supervise production of liquid sodium silicate using caustic soda and silica. Monitor production processes to achieve quality standards and daily production targets. Guide and supervise production operators during shifts. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and safe working practices. Coordinate with Quality Control and Maintenance teams. Maintain daily production records and shift reports. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Education & Experience
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience Level
Minimum 8 years of experience in sodium silicate manufacturing using the wet process. Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in sodium silicate production. Experience with continuous process plants is preferred.
Additional Information
Open to qualified professionals with relevant sodium silicate manufacturing experience. Candidates must have hands-on experience in the wet process.
