Manager – Costing – SAP S/4HANA
Job Description
Manage costing processes within SAP S/4HANA. Work extensively with SAP CO-PC and CO-PA modules. Ensure accuracy of unit costs, including C1/C3 cost metrics. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of SAP S/4HANA master data. Analyze production and operational costs and identify cost variances. Work closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Production, and other functional teams. Visit mining pits and plants to understand actual operational activities behind SAP costing data. Participate in operational meetings and confidently communicate with Engineers and Geologists.
Education & Experience
Education
Relevant qualification in Finance, Cost Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field would be advantageous.
Experience Level
8–20 years of total experience, with significant exposure to Mining & Metals, Fertilizer, Petrochemicals, Cement Manufacturing, or Heavy Manufacturing industries.
Additional Information
Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise is essential. Experience in CO-PC / CO-PA is specifically required. Industry exposure to Mining & Metals, Fertilizer, Petrochemicals, Cement, or Heavy Manufacturing is essential. The role requires willingness to work both with SAP systems and on-site operations. Candidates must be comfortable engaging directly with technical and operational teams. Strong understanding of costing and the ability to connect financial data with actual plant/pit operations are important.
