Maintenance Manager – Packaging Films
Job Description
Manage preventive maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment Design, promote, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs Respond to emergency machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime Ensure all machines and equipment are safe and fit for purpose Carry out regular inspection and maintenance of plant equipment Overhaul, repair, and maintain plant machinery Coordinate installation of new machines and equipment Support relocation and movement of existing machinery Ensure newly installed equipment is properly commissioned and operational Identify recurring equipment problems and implement corrective measures Maintain equipment reliability and operational efficiency
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred.
Experience Level
10+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining industrial machinery. Packaging industry experience required. Experience in Blown Film Extrusion preferred. Strong experience in preventive maintenance, machine breakdowns, overhaul, repair, and equipment installation. Experience managing maintenance activities within a manufacturing plant.
Additional Information
Strong preventive maintenance and breakdown management experience required. Experience with machine installation, overhaul, repair, and equipment movement required. Candidate should be capable of ensuring machinery is safe, efficient, and fit for purpose.
