General Manager – Plastics Manufacturing
Job Description
Lead overall plant operations and manage multiple production departments. Manage Blown Film Extrusion operations, including Mono and Multilayer production. Oversee PP Sheet Extrusion and Thermoforming operations. Manage Plastic / PE Recycling operations and optimize recycling processes. Lead Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Procurement, and Operations teams. Drive improvements in OEE, productivity, yield, waste reduction, and machine uptime. Monitor and reduce production downtime and operational losses. Develop and implement continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Lead and develop teams while maintaining strong shop-floor discipline and operational standards. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies. Drive overall plant profitability and business performance.

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field. Engineering / Polymer / Plastics background is preferred.
Experience Level
10–15+ years of relevant experience in Plastics Manufacturing, Flexible Packaging, Recycling, or related industries.
Additional Information
The following 6 requirements are mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Blown Film Extrusion – Mono & Multilayer. Proven experience in PP Sheet Extrusion & Thermoforming. Strong exposure to Plastic / PE Recycling Operations. Experience managing large-scale plastics manufacturing plants and/or multiple production departments. Strong expertise in OEE, productivity, yield, waste reduction, downtime, and cost control. Proven leadership across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Procurement & Operations.
