Production Manager – FMCG Manufacturing
Job Description
Production & Machine Leadership: Oversee daily operations across Krones beverage filling, KraussMaffei/Netstal injection molding, and Nitrogen Hot Fill PET juice production lines. Operational Excellence & Metrics: Drive plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, 5S) to optimize OEE, MTBF, and MTTR while tracking performance through SAP PP/MM/PM and MES. Compliance & Team Management: Enforce strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 safety/quality standards; manage maintenance/engineering oversight and lead large multidisciplinary workforce teams.

Education & Experience
Education
Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Production, or related technical discipline
Experience Level
12–15+ years of total experience with 5+ years in senior production leadership within highly automated FMCG manufacturing facilities; expert in PET Beverages & Plastics Manufacturing; hands-on expertise with Krones Filling & Packaging lines, KraussMaffei / Netstal Injection Moulding, and Nitrogen Hot Fill PET Juice Technology; proficiency in SAP (PP/MM/PM) & MES; strong background in Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, and food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000); Africa/East Africa experience preferred
