Business Development Manager – Trading (Petroleum)
Job Description
Deal Sourcing & Market Origination: Identify, originate, and execute petroleum trading opportunities across Niger, Chad, and broader African markets within a lean, capital-disciplined framework. Relationship & Government Management: Build and manage high-level strategic relationships with national oil companies (NOCs), regulatory government bodies, and key local/regional trading partners. Commercial Structuring & HQ Coordination: Structure complex energy deals, coordinate directly with the Group HQ and Dubai trading desk, and ensure commercial activities adhere to risk and capital mandates.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, Energy Management, or related field
Experience Level
Deep experience in petroleum deal-sourcing, business development, and energy trading across West/Central African markets; target age range preferred between 35 to 40 years

Operating Structure: Front-line deal sourcing across Niger/Chad feeding into a central Dubai trading desk. Age Preference: 35 to 40 years.
