Hot Rolling Mill Manager
Job Description
Mill Operations & Production Planning: Direct end-to-end Hot Rolling Mill processes; drive throughput targets and optimize production schedules to maximize operational efficiency. Process Control & Quality: Ensure product quality control standards across TMT/rebar lines, implement process performance improvements, and eliminate production bottlenecks. Maintenance & Downtime Optimization: Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with engineering teams to minimize unplanned line downtime and protect equipment reliability.

Education & Experience
Education
Degree or Diploma in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, or related technical discipline
Experience Level
Extensive hands-on background managing Hot Rolling Mill operations in the steel industry; deep technical knowledge of rolling mill equipment, processes, and production systems; experience in process optimization and production planning; experience in TMT/rebar manufacturing, as well as prior African or international steel plant experience, is preferred
