Accounts Manager
Job Description
Accounting & Financial Governance: Direct general ledger operations, AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, financial statement compilation, and executive MIS reporting. Product Costing & Inventory Control: Oversee Bill of Materials (BOM) pricing, import costing, Tally/Odoo entries, physical stock verification, and inventory reconciliations. Taxation, Compliance & Audit: Handle local DRC taxation, TVA (VAT) returns, customs documentation verification, audit coordination, and financial risk reporting to executive management.
Education & Experience
Education
B.Com / M.Com / ICWA / CA or equivalent qualification in Finance or Accounting; strong expertise in Tally ERP 9, Odoo, and MS Excel; French and/or Swahili language skills are an advantage
Experience Level
Minimum 15 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience, preferably within FMCG or Manufacturing; extensive track record in inventory management, product costing (BOM), import costing, TVA/taxation, cash flow forecasting, and customs documentation; prior African work experience preferred
