Operations Manager – Plastic Bag & Packaging Manufacturing
Job Description
Plant Operations & Production Planning: Direct day-to-day plant operations, execute production scheduling, manage inventory levels, and ensure on-time delivery of packaging orders. Efficiency & Process Optimization: Implement continuous process improvements, optimize machinery output, drive waste reduction initiatives, and maintain rigorous product quality standards. Workforce & Safety Leadership: Lead floor supervisors and operational teams, maintain high workplace safety (HSE) standards, and ensure strict compliance with manufacturing protocols.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Experience Level
Proven leadership and operational management experience within the plastic manufacturing sector; preferred background in PP Woven Sacks, Loop Bags, or similar flexible plastic packaging lines; strong technical grounding in plant operations, production planning, preventive maintenance oversight, material wastage reduction, quality assurance, and workforce leadership
