Head of Tendering & Estimation
Job Description
Lead overall tendering strategy and bid management. Review tender documents, specifications, and commercial conditions. Manage quantity take-offs and cost estimation. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams during bid preparation. Develop tender pricing models. Conduct bid risk assessments and identify commercial and technical risks. Ensure tender submissions meet all compliance requirements and deadlines.
Education & Experience
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
Experience Level
15+ years of tendering experience. Minimum 8 years managing EPC tenders. Strong experience in MEP, Solar, Substation, and Power Distribution projects.
Additional Information
Candidates should have extensive EPC tendering and estimation experience with strong exposure to MEP, Solar, Substation, and Power Distribution projects across East Africa.
