Production Manager – Colour Coating Line (CCL)
Job Description
Production Operations & Planning: Direct daily and monthly production scheduling, optimize equipment utilization, ensure output targets for colour coating and slitting are met, and compile routine MIS reporting. Cross-Functional Coordination & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance (QA), and Planning teams to resolve quality non-conformances, minimize machine breakdowns, and eliminate process bottlenecks. EHS, Quality & ERP Governance: Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 operational standards while driving production tracking and inventory management through SAP ERP.
Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical, or Production Engineering) or equivale.nt qualification
Experience Level
10–15 years of overall manufacturing experience; minimum 5 years of relevant engineering or supervisory experience specifically within Colour Coating Line (CCL) and Slitting Line operations; hands-on expertise in capacity utilization, bottleneck resolution, equipment efficiency, and quality assurance; proficiency with SAP ERP (specifically SAP PP – Production Planning module) preferred; working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 standards.
Additional Information
Direct experience managing Colour Coating Lines (CCL) and Slitting Lines within steel, aluminum, or coil coating manufacturing operations. SAP PP module + ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 18001 standards.
